50 Years of Hatton Charities

Hatton Charities was probably one of the first open fours competitions in the country hosting 24 rinks, as in 1956 there were not many ladies clubs, and certainly only very few ladies clubs with a strong membership and two greens.

Many thousands of pounds have been raised for a variety of charities.

The rose bowl trophy has been won by all ladies, all men and mixed teams over the years.

This event continues to be well supported with the recent winning teams being:

2009 J George, A Reed, J George, J Marlow

2008 K Meakin, P Lovesay, G White R White (West End and Abington Ladies)

2007 Not played due to club refurbishment

2006  B  Billing  A Reed  M McDonald   D Allen
